Why
We had a library of VR assets that had never been used, and we were asked to create an experience with them. When content deals are created, VR content is frequently included with no way to actually distribute it.

We created a virtual space that let users browse through our VR library and enter their selected experience. At first, we wanted to use Oculus because it gave us many different UX options, but we decided to house our VR content within a user's TV app. After launching an experience, users could use a Google Cardboard or Daydream, both affordable options, to watch it in VR.
Users can stay in the VR experience by navigating back to a library without taking off their headset. Because many VR titles were overwhelmingly immersive, especially for first-time VR users, I created a relaxing setting that put users at ease. Because we knew that many users weren't familiar with VR, we put our content right in front of them so it'd be easy to see and browse.
